An exquisite Chanel Haute Couture tweed coat and skirt ensemble from the 1960s. This set is crafted from ecru and beige wool-mohair tweed with a luxurious matching mink fur collar and aged gold-toned buttons. The interior features a beautiful powder beige silk lining. As with all Chanel Haute Couture pieces, the garment showcases numerous hand-stitched seams throughout, exemplifying the house’s legendary craftsmanship. The Haute Couture label bears hand-written code 42 152 on the coat and 42 1.... on the skirt (final two digits illegible).

Overall condition: the coat is in very good condition, the lining is clean, and the mink fur has minimal signs of wear. The mink collar can be detached. The skirt was shortened by its owner. The lining has slight imperfections. The leather lining of the belt was completely damaged (peeling, holes). That's why the belt was restored in the atelier.
